SNIPE


The Snipe, also referred to as Wilson's Snipe, is related to the sandpipers, curlews and plovers.  The snipe is about 11 inches long.  It has a short tail and  a long bill.  It eats worms and grubs.  The snipe spends its summers in the northern United States to Hudson Bay and Labrador, and it spends its winters from Illinois and South Carolina and Southward.
